  Above average mexican. Probably the best in 50 miles. Sevice was fast. -1 because the food was beautifully seasoned and cooked but there was no spice at all, and because I could tell my server would rather have been home study for a test in the morning rather than working nights.

  Fajitas for two. Large portion and very fresh. Not greasy like most. Will add this to my frequent stops list. Excellent food!

  The service is excellent if you get the right server but employees are hard to find in this area. The local servers don't read or speak Spanish so that is a negative, but the family that runs El Gallo understands English well and is very helpful. The food is great and not super Americanized. The atmosphere isn't amazing but the space they are was a store so it's a work in progress while they make it their own.
  
  The carnitas are the best I have had in WV and you get a full meal for your dollar. If you order margaritas make sure one of the family operators makes it for you.
